I’ve decided that it would be sensible to write a list of websites and blogs that I find interesting – because either I can relate to them in some way or I think what they do is awesome, or both! And when I add to the list, I’ll try to introduce them in a short blog post. Here are the first two:
The first is a blog I’ve just come across from another young researcher, Nicola Hemmings. She’s a Research Fellow in the Department of Animal & Plant Sciences, University of Sheffield and she’s a Mum and she’s written all sorts of handy stuff about being a researcher and what it’s like for her:
The second is a blog by a former colleague of mine, Brian Pauw, who’s an expert in the world of Small Angle Scattering and also in the ethics of science and publications. He also gives a cracking presentation. If you’ve ever wanted to know anything about SAS, chances are he’s written or vlogged about it on his site.
